A Downtown Grand Rapids Wedding at The High Five

Do you recognize this sweet couple from this engagement photoshoot? Their Founders Brewery session is still one of my favorites to date but I have to admit, their Grand Rapids wedding was even more incredible. Tiffany and Wade both have that joyful, carefree energy that just feels magnetic to be around. Plus, their getting-ready photos included their sweet dog! Let me just say, as your wedding photographer, I will ALWAYS approve of including your dog. ALWAYS.

CATHEDRAL OF ST. ANDREW WEDDING CEREMONY

After the getting-ready photos, their wedding ceremony took place at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, right here in Grand Rapids, MI. As a Michigan wedding photographer, I travel all across our beautiful state but it always makes my heart flutter when I get to stay close to home and see couples take advantage of our beautiful wedding locations around Grand Rapids. Tiffany and Wade’s wedding ceremony at the Cathedral of St. Andrew was flawless, from the incredibly tall ceilings, stunning architecture, and beautiful stained glass windows. Their love filled the entire church!

After their ceremony, we gathered their wedding party for some stunning outdoor wedding photos at one of my favorite downtown Grand Rapids locations - including the Blue Bridge! They also enjoyed a little “wedding party” cocktail hour at Founders Brewing Co. (an ode to their engagement photos and where they had their first date!) and then finished the evening at High Five. I love when couples plan out their wedding locations using both practical/logistical reasons but also make an effort to choose meaningful and sentimental locations to them. After all, your wedding photos are only part of your love story.
